Answer prepopulation

This feature allows you to answer any number of survey questions for some or all of your staff members before the survey is sent out. As the respondent completes the questionnaire the prepopulated questions are answered automatically.

This feature is particularly useful in a large organisation where staff may be confused as to which demographic (functional group) they fall into. In this way the accuracy of the demographic information collected is greatly improved.

Further to this feature we can prepopulate and hide questions or entire sections. This is most useful for Customer Surveys where you can prepopulate a respondent's organisation and relationship to your organisation, and then hide that section of the survey. In this way you can analyse the responses from that organisation and compare their opinion to other organisations – all without having to directly ask this information from the respondent.

Compulsory questions

If there are some questions in your survey which you consider to be of the utmost importance, you use this feature to make the questions compulsory. A respondent can not submit data unless they provide an answer for the required questions.

Conditional questions

There may be some questions in your survey which are not relevant to all respondents, or perhaps you would like your respondents to elaborate on a particular response from the questionnaire. Conditional questions allow you to determine which questions a respondent is asked based on their answers to other questions in the survey.

This feature is useful for Training Needs Analysis type surveys where a number of programmes have been run at once, or participants have only attended some of the modules – because you can ask them questions specific to that program. Further, if a respondent indicates they are particularly satisfied or dissatisfied you can ask them to provide some more feedback into why this is the case.

Random Respondent Allocation

We can determine the number of people you need to survey to achieve a statistically sound result and automatically sample this number from a larger pool of possible respondents. This feature is utilised best in Internal Customer or Market Research  surveys where only a sample of responses is required.
